Halloween (1978)
One of the all-time classic horror movie endings. White-faced (actually, Shatner-faced) slasher Michael Myers is shot repeatedly by the embattled Dr. Loomis and falls from the second floor of a suburban home. First, we see Myers' "lifeless" body splayed out on the front lawn. But when Loomis leans over to check his handy work—Myers is gone. Sorry, end credits, but this ain't over yet.
